My work includes individual portraits, headshots, event photography and product photography. I have a home studio but I primarily work on location with my clients to photograph their office, business and employees. I bring my studio lighting, backdrops and all necessary equipment to quickly set up on location for headshots or environmental portraits in your place of business.
My clients include large and small business owners, entrepreneurs, partnerships, state and private universities, dance and fitness studios. I also work with several large groups for annual photos of marching bands and Scouting Troops.
Nearly all of my clients come to me as referrals from existing customers, but don't let that stop you from reaching out, I'm always looking for new people to work with and new projects to work on.
A Little More About Me…
Background:
I wasn’t always a professional photographer, but I always had my camera with me. I’m proud to have served with the U.S. Army in duty stations around the world including the Middle-East, Germany, Cuba, Panama, and multiple duty stations across the US.
After serving in the Army I transitioned to a corporate job in sales and worked across the Midwest in sales, account management and ultimately as a senior sales manager. These roles allowed me to work face to face with customers as well as work on project teams with corporate brand managers, human resources and the training department.
Where I Work:
I’m based in Jackson, Missouri with clients located across the midwest, including St. Louis, Kansas City, Cleveland and several smaller cities & towns across the midwest.
I’m available to travel to you with my portable head shot studio or to work on location for portrait and event photography.
For product and tabletop work we can coordinate on a time and location for the photo shoot or make arrangements to send the product to my home studio if necessary.
Lifelong Learning:
When I’m not behind the camera I’m working on new ideas, learning new techniques and keeping current with new products for my clients. I enjoy teaching photography and leading photo walks for the community.
I present on classes ranging from photography basics, like composition & understanding basic exposure principles, to more advanced courses on studio lighting and blending ambient and strobe lighting. Some of my most popular classes are on post processing workflow and digital asset management.
All the non-photographers just fell asleep, but I can assure you it's a very popular topic among photographers.
